Do college coaches expect a 4-year commitment FROM players when they aren’t making 4-year commitments TO players??

On a baseball field, shame & guilt should not be used as coaching techniques. You can scare players into listening to you. Or you can build them up & they’ll run thru a wall for you. The choice is yours.

Guys who come to the plate, looking to take, are counting down the days til someone figures out they’re pretending to be hitters…

At a game, sitting amongst the fans. Can feel them looking over my shoulder at the radar gun and stopwatch. A dad asks me to get his sons pop time and that he’s a kid I should watch. I oblige. Throw to second. Stopwatch reads 2.58 — everything goes back to normal.

College Baseball is a dog-eat-dog world right now. Parents-You BETTER embrace challenging situations for your kids before they get there. I don't give a damn how good you think your baby boy is...he needs to keep getting better and TOUGHER!
