From the money raised at our Walk for Oral Cancer Awareness on Oct. 5th, The Nassau County Dental Society, through its charitable arm, the Nassau Academy of Dentistry, was able to donate $5,000 to Memorial Sloan Kettering for oral cancer research.

We mourn the passing of our friend and colleague, Dr. Sandy Klein. A leader and true gentleman. His funeral will be at Temple Sinai in Roslyn, 425 Roslyn Road on Tuesday at 11:30. The family will be sitting shiva at 30 Woodgreen Lane, Roslyn Heights Tuesday-Thursday from 6-8:30.

The Nassau County Dental Society, along with their foundation, The Nassau Academy of Dentistry held their twenty-third Give Kids A Smile event on February 6, 2026, at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY. 1250 children attended our GKAS event and we had 365 volunteers
