Yesterday was a DOG FIGHT as we battled 9 innings & feel jus short in extra innings to a strong Metea Valley. A tough loss but e competed! Congrats to these two for earning the golden glove & bat.

Our season may have come to a close but there is a lot to be proud of. First, we have to recognize Isabel Aranda & Hazel Montavon for receiving DVC all Conference Honors. These two lead the Barbs in multiple offensive categories during DVC play. 🐦‍⬛ DeKalb Barbs

This group showed growth over the past year. Improving our team BA from 2023. Had 69 more hits then last season. We beat DVC power house Neuqua Valley. Had 2 players earn DVC All Conf. Honors w/ BAs in the .400’s. Life lessons & growth is what HS sports are all about. 🐦‍⬛ 🥎
