Hubby's BD tomorrow, n I have nothing for him. With all the Dr appts, procedures n finally the Cancer diagnosis, it totally got pushed to the back of my brain. Now I feel like a very horrible person. The one time he needs to be shown how special he is to me, I forget 😪

After surviving the stress of the damage we sustained from Fiona n subsequent repairing of our home, we figured we'd made it through. Only to now receive a terrible diagnosis of advanced lung cancer for Hubby. I'm seriously not sure we can make it through this. #cancersucks

Rain has started n the winds are gearing up. Hope it blows through quickly. Don't have to worry about trick n treaters tonight. City made the right call n postponed till tomorrow.

The day we've been dreading has arrived. Our 1st appt with the Oncologist for Hubby's lung cancer. I don't think I've ever been so scared of a Dr's appt in my life #cancersucks

You know what really sucks. When all week you are wanting Starbucks Canada Peppermint White Mocha and you finally have time to get one. You can't wait to have your 1st sip. Finally, you get home, sit down take a sip and the damn thing is not what you ordered. Huge disappointment

People keep telling me I need to take care of myself 1st while helping Hubby with his lunch cancer journey. They don't understand I can't. I've never put myself ahead of anyone who needs my help. I just don't know how to do that. That's just how I am it sucks but that's reality

Please be nice to retail staff. They're not paid nearly enough to deal with the unreasonable demands of the general public. If you drop a piece of stock on the floor, pick it up. Treat a shop as you would your own home and you won't go wrong.
