80 years since D-Day. 80 years since the largest seaborne invasion in history. 80 years since the heroic efforts of those who landed on the beaches of Normandy to liberate Europe from Nazi tyranny. 80 years of peace in Western Europe since. Today we say thank you. #DDay80

As you enjoy your breakfast in peace this morning, as the kids head to school, perhaps reflect on this day 80 yrs ago when 150,000 young men stormed the #DDay80 beaches. Many never returned to their own families, so that we can enjoy that hard-won freedom. British Normandy Memorial

Young inspectors reviewed Paediatric services at New Cross Hospital – impressing staff with their observations. Through the Little Voices project, children from Wodensfield Primary reviewed Paediatric services before feeding back to senior leaders. Link to story below.
