Today the Ontario Court of Appeal issued an important decision affirming workers fundamental right to strike. The Court affirmed that legislation banning all strikes by TTC workers was an unconstitutional infringement of workers’ Charter rights. drive.google.com/file/d/1T5vHDP…

Summers in Ontario are getting hotter and we need heat stress legislation now, not 5 or 10 years from now.

That’s why the Ontario NDP and OFL are calling on the government to legislate that employers provide protections from heat stress to workers.
