I ASK EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS TWEET TO PLEASE RT IT. Tomorrow nurses strike. They will be put through hell by the media, politicians and the establishment. Ahead of the action please share this tweet if you back the nurses and find it sickening that they are being vilified.

Designers: if your design decisions are justified by the notion that the user will “just” remember something, then please think again, considering context of use. Might be more difficult in times of high workload, stress, if you’re being shot at, have someone bleeding out etc.

It’s international women’s day! I recommend following Gender Pay Gap Bot which picks up tweets from companies talking about how important women are, then posting the pay gap in that organisation. Fascinating.

Took my husband for an MRI scan this morning. Had to have forms filled in for him as he’s partially sighted. Now some parts of the NHS know he’s severely visually impaired… but this knowledge is not shared. And don’t get me started on the car park ticket machines… #humanfactors

Something interesting you might not have realized: a number of words in English are nouns when you stress the first syllable but verbs when you stress the second. "Your CONduct is better when you conDUCT yourself appropriately.”
