Over on TikTok, various archaeology creators are calling out the grotesque use of the app to promote the sale and ownership of human remains. Folks on here are probably well aware of this, but just flagging it up in case not.

Sheffield, Chester, Hull, now York. The list grows. UK university administrators are repeatedly using arbitrary, and in some cases biased, reasoning to shut world-leading programs and departments. Here in Sheffield, our fight to #SaveSheffieldArchaeology continues

Another archaeology university department closure University of Worcester - a worrying trend as more Unis outside the Russell Group close. Narrowing the diversity of choice for HE will ultimately lead to a less diverse workforce. It’s obvious we have a lot of work to do 😞#Dig4Arch
