The last of our provocations to our politicians from Kezia Dugdale of Centre for Public Policy on inequality and poverty highlighting a Parliament which finds it easier to scrap, ban and give away than reform and calling for organisation of support around families not institutions. #ScotParl25
Our panel of politicians: Meghan Gallacher MSP Mark Griffin Councillor Hannah Steel Ben Macpherson MSP Ross Greer in an insightful discussion on the challenges and opportunities posed by academics for the next 25 years. And some excellent questions from our audience.
Many thanks to Alison Johnstone for hosting and to Scotland's Futures Forum & Centre for Public Policy for organising an excellent discussion on #ScotParl25. Still so much hope for what can be achieved

Very thoughtful contributions from our panel. Our board member and chair, Maggie Chapman MSP, has given us a powerful provocation: how could Scotland lead on creating an eco system and regulatory framework that supports creatives?
Fascinating session on AI and Deep Fake Politics introduced by a fake Maggie Chapman MSP speaking multiple languages. Panel includes Hannah Perry, Jason Boxt and Robert Moran Hannah Perry Jason Boxt
Robert Moran Futurist Brunswick Insight suggests a near future vision of AI: • Many of us will have an AI chatbot partner • We will build an AI chatbot of our loved ones before their death • The wealth of info in Presidential libraries will give us access to former Presidents
Jason Boxt Jason Boxt closes by saying that we get our information from people like us, in vertical chutes. Deep fakes will be less impactful if we are all a little more open to other points of view to help us spot misinformation and disinformation.
