And local communities (like mine) support the proposed new zoning to protect precious school playing pitches in an area where school numbers will increase in coming years.

With the huge pressure on site values in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown our FG group are determined to safeguard school playing pitches for future generations to use and play on. With the policy of compact growth we need to protect and enhance open spaces, parks and playing fields.

The gall of the Church complaining that zoning proposed to protect school lands for future generations, will lower the value of church and school properties! The planning regulator says there is enough zoned land in DLR without the need to develop playing grounds #olg_saveourland

Very disappointing news today that ABP has granted permission for 698-bed student accommodation at OLG Schools. The Board ignored our many concerns as well as the recommendation for refusal by the Chief Executive of DLR County Council. #olg_saveourland #saveourladysgrove
