Why are certain mutations so prevalent in some but not other cancers? A clue: They need to cooperate with lineage-specific transcription factors to activate an oncogenic programme. Really beautiful paper out in nature by Sakari Vanharanta and his team. Btw, he's hiring University of Helsinki!
