Today, I had the great honor to chair the first ever National Climate Task Force. President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and I agree - tackling the climate crisis will require a whole-of-government approach. Thank you to my friends and colleagues who joined to share how every agency can lead on climate.
Kudos to Natural Resources Democrats Rep. Diana DeGette Raul M. Grijalva et al in the House for taking early action to protect the Grand Canyon, 1.5 M acres of wilderness, and 1,000 miles of wild and scenic rivers. Off to a fast start on conservation in 2021.
Working to overcome the monumental challenges imposed by the pandemic, while confronting the climate, biodiversity & environmental injustice crises will not be an easy task, which is exactly why our nation urgently needs the expertise of Brenda Mallory. ow.ly/aHBg50DN5OB
