🧵For any lucky people who are looking at the Building Safety (Wales) Bill over the summer with a view to giving evidence to Local Government and Housing Committee, I thought I'd post a few useful links to help make sense of things:


Almost 2 years now since the initial contact with our developers Avant Homes and still no sign of any progress. This week we issued our 3rd complaint letter to Ridge Consultancy and also to our MP Andrew Western MP The developers pledge simply isn't working for us.

It's almost a year since this Angela Rayner 'roundtable'. Nothing has changed. More warm words. No action. Building safety still isn't a Government priority. gov.uk/government/new…



Still only making buildings half safe. Still refusing to take control from the centre. Still failing to protect innocent leaseholders. The Labour Party still far from delivering anything close to the change they promised.



We absolutely welcome Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Gov announcement last month that cladding remediation funding will be made available to under 11m buildings. But let's cut the cr*p about "exceptional cases". 1/
