Another shout out to CCTG participating in 2/4 plenary #ASCO2023 demonstrating pfs and efs advantage with Nivolumab vs Brentuximab +AVD. Notably decreasing the need for EOT radiation especially in peds patients! Excellent collaborative study in adults/ped.

We carefully assessed timing & features of ctDNA response and correlated with clinical outcomes in the first stage of BR36 published today in Nat Medicine. We use these results in Stage II to evaluate ctDNA to tailor treatment to improve survival of NSCLC patients.

This guidance is an important acknowledgement of the value of pragmatic RCTs to inform policy & practice. Academic coop trial groups have long done these RCTs to benefit patients, clinicians, payers, & regulators. Like us trialists, FDA is interested in seeing more of them.
