I cannot believe schools will reopen BEFORE social bubbles are introduced. Surely it’s safer to inter-link up with a family/friend household that you know has been following the rules than 10 to 15 students and teachers from different households to mix?

If people dont please follow Professor Karol Sikora he gives us a view on covid without media spin but also sees the dangers we face in the future especially with cancer treatment and referals. I have to be honest he gave me some hope during lockdown!!

16 reported fatalities today, compared to 25 15 38 55 111 on previous Mondays. 352 new cases recorded which is by far the lowest number we have seen for some time. There is no question that the presence of the virus is reducing and fast. Let's keep it that way.

The number of Coronavirus patients in mechanical ventilation beds in the UK is now below 100 (97), in April it was over 3200. At the peak there were almost 20,000 Coronavirus patients in hospital, that number is now around 1300. Useful figures to track.

Good luck to those receiving their A-levels. I did Scottish ‘Highers’. Did OK. Went to law school. Sacked that off to become a stand up comedian and now thanks to a global pandemic play FIFA for a living. What I’m saying is exams are just one of many factors that shape your life.

I've been really impressed with the COVID Symptom Study app - a fantastic project, well worth signing up to. They currently estimate after our recent uptick, UK infections are at their lowest number for months and heading downwards. Some encouraging news from a reliable source.

Just remember mums, dads and carers. Sweden never closed schools. They’ve had 1.8 million children at school all the time. Zero deaths xx

Proposed law in UK would make celebrities label as “edited” photos posted to Instagram that are photoshopped. Member of Parliament: “Edited photos on Instagram are fueling a mental health crisis because they’re creating a warped sense of beauty.”

I've seen several dirty masks discarded on the street this morning, honestly why do people do it? How can we fix it? Chewing gum, cigarettes, plastic - it's all horrid and such a selfish thing to do. I feel for the cleaners who have to deal with it.

This is my point. Press saying France ‘red zone’ ‘surging’ ‘fears rise’ etc. They have a population of 66 million and 12 elderly people died yesterday with coronavirus. 450 died of cancer. It’s appalling fear inducing reporting.

Five reasons why #coronavirus rise in cases is not all it seems - extra testing, targeted at high infection rate areas and a massively under-estimated spring peak all should be taken into account bbc.co.uk/news/health-54…

It infuriates and saddens me greatly that film makers think this it is ok to use and portray an upper limb difference as something that you should be fearful of. This was not written in the Roald Dahl books! #differentlyable #limbdifference @reachcharity @alex_brooker 😢😡
