#OTD 11th August 1968, BR ran its last official mainline steam passenger train. Today, I found myself with Tom Ingall at Great Central Railway Railway where ‘Oliver Cromwell’, a loco from that last run is under restoration. Here’s some lovely archive footage from 1968 too…
