This male Ring Ouzel was a great find mid morning by Malcurtin in the fields at Higher Marston marburypatch. Only a couple of hundred metres from the last in April 2021 and first this year in Cheshire & Wirral I think. Cheshire & Wirral Ornithological Society C & W BIRD NEWS
A good start to our Dipper monitoring, 5 nests with warm eggs and 3 nests still being completed. 5 females caught, 1 new and 3 from previous years along this stretch. 1 from a nest on the Bollin in her 6th year. Cheshire & Wirral Ornithological Society C & W BIRD NEWS #gottoloveDippers

Black Guillemot Hilbre Bird Obs showed rather well today. Fishing off the east side as the tide ebbed. I’ve not seen it catch anything yet though.
