Pacific Swift! In the field behind our house! Oooft... Presumably the returning bird from June22 & July23. Where else does it go? And why is it in wing moult this year? So many questions. Thanks to Count Yellow [email protected] for souvenir mugshot. Nature in Shetland BirdGuides RareBirdAlertUK
Found a bunch of 80+ Nemotelus uliginosus on the River Clwyd, Conwy SH9979. Possibly a lot more there. Soldierflies RS Cofnod Natur Cymru BuglifeCymru

A cracking birding session with Rob Robin Sandham at Gronant, Flintshire. 28 c-rings read from the 700+ Sandwich Terns. This superb adult Caspian Gull stole the show (look at those wings!). Also at least one adult Yellow legged Gull (last video) amongst 1000s of gulls WBRC - Welsh Birds Rarities Committee 👍
A big #crbirding session with Marc Hughes at Gronant totalled 27 Sandwich Terns read (flock 600+) and he only goes and finds an adult Casp and YLG. #clubsandwich #seabirds
Awesome views of the #StKilda American Cliff Swallow continue today 😍 Flying around a localised patch near the Manse in gale force winds, often settling for a rest on the grass or on rocks. Outer Hebrides Birds BirdGuides Rare Bird Network
