Last week, students from Bangor University helped us protect young oak trees naturally regenerating on the ffridd at our Coed Crafnant Nature Reserve. These young trees should now thrive and help to expand our precious Celtic rainforest.🌳

We recently teamed up with @radnorshirewildlifetrust for ‘no-fence tree planting’ on hills above Pentwyn Farm in Powys, planting trees where sheep can’t reach them, such as on steep banks & in gorse. It really works!

There is a mollusc which makes a shell AND bores tunnels in peat and solid rock to live within!
Piddock tunnels can provide a habitat for other species, and that's why our #Shoresearch volunteers are documenting them.
