Don’t accept condolences about gun violence from any politician who is in a position to prevent it and does nothing. The shooting at UNC is another painful reminder that we let our kids pay the price for grown-ups who refuse to lead.

Kids deserve to go to school free of gun violence. Teachers deserve to give lessons free of gun violence. Shoppers deserve to buy groceries free of gun violence. And on and on.
