🇸🇪 works to prevent the effects of drought in 🇸🇴 thro climate adaptation projects which increase the resilience of communities. 🇸🇪 in coop with SomReP supported 20k households in drought-affected parts of 🇸🇴in 2022. The response provided lifesaving support to Somalis.

🇸🇪Sida has supported SomReP for the past 10 years and is further proof that Swedish partnership with 🇸🇴 is long-term and responds to both need and Somali priorities.

Joint visit by 🇸🇪 🇪🇺🇨🇭 in Dollow, Jubaland with SomReP. Very good to see resilience to shocks strengthened through women’s saving groups, clean water, livestock vaccinations as well as canals for increased yield in dry season & reduced flooding during rains.
