Some people exist behind the scenes and make so much possible without anyone really knowing. Sir Stephen Oliver was such a person, saving Blackheath Halls in 80s, tirelessly supporting London Sinfonietta Britten Pears Arts and more. He was a great man and sadly died on Monday evening.

Rachmaninoff Sonata for Cello and Piano, on enjoyable Perfect Pitch Nick Hely Hutchinson played by my two favourite virtuosos @StevevenIsserlis Stephen Hough Loved the empathetic conversation between the two, the finale made me smile. A pleasure for me and, I suspect, for them.
