Officers from the South East Territorial Support Group visited Ashmole Primary Scool in Lambeth Police | Central South BCU today to do a show and tell about their role and some of the equipment they use.

Looks like everyone had fun.

'This is the best day of my life' one of the Cricket Green School Cadets said when meeting some police dogs today! They watched the dogs in action and learnt all about them.

Early start this morning working on the London Marathon. A big thank you to all the officers who spent hours on their feet, including many MPSSpecials who gave up their Sunday to keep people safe.

TSG U5:1 on patrol on Hackney Police yesterday came across a rather interesting vehicle. Upon stopping it a 98 bags of cannabis and a quantity of cash was recovered. ^5882U

Today PH Belgravia & PH Brutus met LFBTowerHamlets (Bethnal Green) whilst out on patrol. They had the chance to investigate the truck in close proximity as it’s not something they see everyday! They both did very well and enjoyed the attention. Thanks all!

One of my teams have been on Comissioners Reserve this week working from 6pm to 3am.

They have arrested 31 people. Of note, the following;

Good to have City Police Horses working with our Met Police Taskforce Mounted Branch today at West Ham v Spurs.

Bit rainy but they are in good spirits.

A great Borough Training Day today, with two excellent sessions with our Metropolitan Police colleagues. During the afternoon’s risk familiarisation visit to the Hammersmith Mounted Branch, we were introduced to our neighbours! Great visit! Met Police Taskforce

Today a proactive policing deployment led by U5.5 along with U5.1 and Westminster Police | Central West BCU around Portobello Market led to 4 individuals being arrested for theft offences and officers were able to reunite victims with their property. Great teamwork. ^5882U

Today we've had horses from Hammersmith patrolling Portobello Road working alongside local officers to help reduce thefts in the area. Lots of people came and engaged with us and the horses definitely enjoyed the better weather.

We'll be using Live Facial Recognition technology at key locations in Lewisham including #Catford today

This tech helps keep Londoners safe, & will be used to find people who threaten or cause harm, those who are wanted, or have outstanding arrest warrants issued by the court

Officers were out and about this weekend with Met Police Taskforce talking to local residents & visitors at a Safety Surgery at Columbia Road Flower Market, marked an amazing 134 bikes on BikeRegister and led an operation targeting pick pockets!
