It re-elected I’m committed to working side by side with the Canal and River Trust to improve the West Midlands Canal Network 🚣 This includes co-funding a feasibility study for a major restoration of the Bradley Arm canal to link Wolverhampton, Walsall & Birmingham 🤝🏻

Enjoyed BBC Politics West Midlands Mayoral hustings. My takeaway is that Andy Street has a clear record of delivery, a clear plan for his next term & is the only candidate not making pie-in-the-sky promises. Andy Street has brought huge investment to the WM. LOTS done. More to do.

First meeting of the ‘Corporate parenting board this week. Did you know all council staff and elected Councillors are defined as ‘Corporate Parents’? Having previously been a Foster carer for 10years i understand firsthand the importance of the role of the board and its purpose.

Wow! #Labour know their education policies will lead to larger class sizes & they dont care. This is a serious challenge to Labour candidates who are teachers. We can't risk falling education standards in #Wolverhampton North East. Vote Jane Stevenson to keep class sizes down.
