Queen Charlotte's Cottage in the middle of Kew Gardens is an early example of a cottage orné – a rustic picturesque building. It was used by the royal family in the late C18th for resting, picnics & taking tea in the gardens. Take a look around this summer bit.ly/charlottescott…

#MomentsofSadness in #Glasgow: this is the ‘B’ listed Bloomfield Cottage of circa 1852 at the corner of Great George and Bank Streets in Hillhead. It has been on the Buildings at Risk Register since 2012 but has slid into decline with the roof recently further collapsing…☹️😢!

The Savoy Centre in Glasgow. A brutalist architectural icon which you will either love or hate. Personally I love it. Hopefully the first in a series. Available as an A4/A3/A2 art print on my website. Link in bio #savoycentre #Glasgow #brutalism

#PlanningStuff in #Glasgow: the proof is in the pudding but it’s great to see the vast gap site at the junction of two of Glasgow’s oldest & finest streets, Trongate and Candleriggs being infilled by buildings after being vacant for decades. I hope it brings lots of activity😉👍!

The copper clad BOAC building on Buchanan St. Designed in 1970 by Gillespie, Kidd and Coia. I had fun trying to capture the colour & texture of the weathered exterior. It has been home to various shops over the years however I have included the original signage in my illustration
