On this day in 2003, Steve Bartman attempted to catch a foul ball at a Chicago Cubs playoff game... While it was not called on the field, it was thought that Bartman had interfered on the play. In 2016 after the Cubs won the World Series, Bartman would be awarded a ring🏆
