Well done Karen, you articulated everything beautifully. You are facing NHS standard operating procedures with #VerySevereME: imminent death in hospital or at home. According to #MaeveInquest this is not a #HumanRights matter. It is. Inhuman and degrading treatment Andrew Gwynne MP

Great article. As a former athlete I would love to see an article about elite athletes with ME as well. The void I fell in having no MDs/researchers showing any interest in why I became more ill after exertion has been heartbreaking. My life didn't matter. thesicktimes.org/2024/08/16/gra…

This is an excellent article by Dr. Weir and Dr. Speight that could be helpful to many people who are struggling to convince others that ME is not psychological mdpi.com/2227-9032/9/8/…

Feels like there is a bit of media momentum at the moment! #ThereForME campaign will be on BBC breakfast at 7am tomorrow. Binita Kane will be giving a live interview as well as a pre record with Karen Hargrave and me.

#MaeveKnew her death may be the test case required in English law. She did not want to die. How she did should inform a #MEPublicInquiry without delay. We already know findings at the #LongCovid Inquiry support this. Valerie Eliot Smith #LongCovidKids davidtuller Joe Lajszczuk

Why are investigators studying whether exercise "causes" PEM in a cohort of Gulf War Illness patients who mostly do not experience PEM? It's hard to understand how this got published in this form. virology.ws/2024/09/07/tri…

I'm not saying anything here about the overall prevalence of PEM among GWI patients. My point was that in the specific sample studied, the prevalence of PEM as a characteristic of the participants' GWI presentation was very low
