What do we lose when we stop singing Psalms? We lose Scripture. When we sing the Psalms, we’re constantly reminded that Old and New are chapters of one book. Every time we sing Psalms, we tell ourselves the Old Testament is our book, Israel’s God our God. We lose the church.

Singing the Psalms is dangerous. If left unchecked, you start to believe God will rise and scatter His enemies, uproot the wicked, and bless and prosper the righteous.

Praying for Charlie Kirk’s family. A man of boldness and courage, someone who, in his own words, wanted to be remembered for his faith in Christ. Praying that the church in the UK would reclaim and grow in that boldness.

I watched only snippets of the Charlie Kirk memorial, but I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to God. No living person, I suspect, has seen so many high public officials testify so clearly to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I am grateful for Tucker Carlson's exhortation to repent,

Yesterday at Knox Presbytery Living Stone was privileged to officially begin the process of bringing Veritas Church in Preston, UK (Pastor David Scholes) into the CREC Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC). Pray for this wonderful congregation as they serve Christ in the UK.
