Really sad news. Boam was a leader in every sense and it was an absolute pleasure to watch him lead in his no-nonsense way on the field alongside Willie Maddren. It was brilliant to see him at the 73/74 reunion back in 2018. 6'2, eyes of blue - RIP Stuart.

Spent the day on Hadrian’s Wall. Amazing history, but so sad to see the Sycamore Gap without the tree. However, the stump is sprouting new growth - great to see!
