If you’re a Christian and you’re *not sure* if God wants Christians to kill people for being gay or for opposing your political agenda, you are a danger to society and humanity.

Bible Dude: Empathy is a sin! Jesus: “Which is lawful: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent. He looked at them in anger, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts…” Jesus: ἐσπλαγχνίσθη (“Deeply moved with compassion”) Etc. Etc. Etc.

Can I just say that “Biblical” is the single most flexible and meaningless word in evangelicalism? Thanks.

It takes a great deal of arrogance to live in the U.S. with over 200 different sects of Christianity, all with their own unique theology, yet insist that only your sect has the authority to speak, not only for all Christians, but for all people in our country as well.

Another Chosenism that honestly made me laugh was Jesus more or less saying "on this rock I will build my church" into the middle distance. Actor is Catholic, production company is LDS. Let's just split the difference and have Jesus say it to nothing.
