Hats off to the bulls who today held EMA(5)/EMA(13) right where they had to, & pulled Wm%R(14) back above -50 to -43.06. Still no quit so far in the bulls since the April rebound.

GM. $SPX outperformed $XLK early in '25, but RS turned in favor of $XLK at Apr lows and never looked back...still going...

The $SPX just logged back-to-back 80% breadth days for the first time since 4/11-4/14. 👀

Amazing $SPX strength since Apr when cross back > 20 d, and Wm %R >-50. Barely flirted with either one since then. Weak seasonals ahead, but huge burden of proof on bears.

$SPX can do whatever it wants (esp in Sept & Oct!), but warning signs to me are weekly EMA(5) / EMA(13) neg cross along with Wm%R (14) below -50. Both looking good so far... Have a great holiday weekend!

Since early Aug, buy $SPX @ 21 EMA and sell @ ~6500. One of them is going to give real soon... If 21 EMA gives, it will break pattern in place since late April.

Yes, tough seasonals ahead, but my approach is react to price - don't predict. It results in small DDs, but avoids large DDs & gives LT outperformance. Bulls control imo until lower wkly close < 6238 from 8/1 wkly close. HAGW!

Unusual for $SPX wkly EMA(5) to not pull back to EMA(13) at times. Happened even in strong yr like '24 5x. Only happened 2x during '17. May not happen again in '25?...

This has been such a strong Bull Mkt. 'Trend until not' says it all.

Well, signing off for Oct to get a leaky heart valve & left atrium fixed. Who knew old men would start falling apart? 😂 Hopefully leaving at an ATH doesn't jinx anything. $SPX may start falling apart tomorrow, but for now all continues to look good. Prayers appreciated...

Very grateful to report a successful heart surgery! A huge "thank you" to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. L. Re $SPX, much headline risk, but this 2.35% DD hasn't turned the inter term bearish imho. Wkly 5 EMA>13 EMA, Wm%R >-50, & RSI (14)>50. Would like to hold Oct L ~6550.
