#deadlydreams *The dimly lit room faded to black as she ran. Carol screamed and found herself in the school boiler room. She screamed again*

#deadlydreams *A red light filled the room, flickering. She looked back for a moment as a shadow passed. Terror filled her and she ran.*

#deadlydreams *Metal scrapped along the raillings, the sound chilling her to the bone. * (Oh God no)

#deadlydreams *She tried to find an exit, but only found herself trapped in the red,heat filled room. Carol took a deep breath. (I need out)

#deadlydreams *Looking around,her eyes darting between the shadow and saw movement in the corner of her eye. She froze,not even breathing*

#deadlydreams *Carol remained still until she was sure nothing was there, then she ran again, searching for a way out.*(Please, God,help me)

#deadlydreams *She quickly realized she was trapped, there was no way out. She groaned in fear and frustration. *(Nooooo!)

#deadlydreams *She looked around again as the red light flickered. She was near tears as she sat down in desperation.*(Please someone help)

#deadlydreams *Carol heard the scrapping again and bolted upright and ran through the room looking for a place to hide.*

#deadlydreams *She found a small hole and crawled into it. She just barely fit. Carol shook with fear as the scrapping got louder.*

#deadlydreams *She started to cry and tried to remain quiet as she did. She slowed her breathing and listened.*

#deadlydreams *The sound soon faded and Carol hoped the person was going away. She peered out of her hole, and a scream escaped her.*

#deadlydreams *Carol woke up with a start screaming at the top of her lungs. She rolled out of her bed and sat shaking on the floor. *

#deadlydreams Just a dream. No, nightmare. Oh god, I'm ok. I'm ok. *A single tear ran down her cheek.*

*Carol shivered as she stood and dressed. She pulled on thick, warm clothing, then left her room.*

*Carol walked the halls of the school. Her nightmare lingered in the back of her mind, causing her to be jumpy and skittish. *

*Carol rubbed her tired eyes and looked around the kitchen. Her coffee had gone cold as she sat.*(Oh man, must have fallen asleep.)
