Just read Anthropic’s new labor market paper. The headline framing—“AI job destruction detector”—doesn’t tell the right story though. The learnings are more subtle and more impactful: so far, there is little evidence of broad unemployment in AI-exposed white-collar roles. Yet

OpenAI hardware chief resigns over the hastily-made Pentagon agreement. Whether you agree with Caitlin’s decision or not, sticking to one’s principles in the face of pressure takes a lot of courage.

A mind-blowing read. 🤯 Are we simply physical matter or does our self-aware consciousness transcend our bodies and brains? theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

We should all be concerned about the environmental implications of AI. The massive data center surge—rivaling energy needs of small cities—threatens climate goals by delaying coal plant closures and increasing reliance on natural gas. What to do? theatlantic.com/magazine/2026/…

The U.S. average gas price is ~ $3.94 per gallon for regular unleaded (as of late March '26). Gas prices swing due to many global factors—most of which aren't directly controlled by a sitting U.S. president. But in this case, the spike is largely tied to President Trump's

CFOs say AI will hit routine admin jobs hardest—like data entry—while skilled trades like engineering will stay secure. A survey of ~ 750 CFOs found no major AI job cuts in 2025, with only minor cuts expected this year. White-collar workers might feel pressure later, but

Don’t listen to federal politicians who claim that the job market is great. No, it’s not great. Especially for the white-collar segment. For those who are in a good spot with work right now, be grateful and focus on making a big impact in your role.

While working at NASA in ‘93, I applied to the astronaut program and hoped to get my shot at the stars. Although I ultimately didn’t have the “right stuff”, it was empowering to try. If it had worked out, I would’ve requested my favorite snack for the mission. Oh, to dream big!

High gas prices are accelerating the EV transition, and charging infrastructure is now catching up to demand. I’ve used superchargers throughout the southeast U.S. with no issues. This is a great time to make the transition to an EV!⚡️ bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
