"People sometimes doubt what they hear, but never what they conclude." That's why storytelling trumps all in marketing.

True professionals don't get distracted by outrageous news. They’re busy dealing with their own craft and problems. Their focus remains unwavering, immersed in the tasks at hand. Don't let yourself be derailed by other people's priorities. Stay true to your life's work.

Most often you don't need more time. You need a deadline. It's amazing how productive you become when 'later' is no longer an option.

Approach whatever you’re studying with a clear purpose in your mind. If you're reading a book just to say you read it, you're missing the point. Education is not a checklist. If anything, it's a vehicle.

The market is saturated. Everyone is swamped. No one needs that much content. Shoot for less, but better. People will appreciate a lean approach to learning something of value. You don't need 18 video modules to teach something. Position yourself as the antidote to overwhelm.

"Formal education vs Self education" As someone who's invested heavily(ish) in both, I can tell you it's all self education. Thing is, everything can work if you apply yourself. Your effort makes the difference. The delivery mechanism is irrelevant.

It's never too early to start sharing your knowledge. Not because it serves others. Although it can. But because it schools you.

I rarely recommend general business books. Why? There's two types of learning: just-in-time & just-in-case. Reading for the sake of it falls in the latter. You get value by reading specific books when tackling specific issues. #intentionalreading

Be honest: How much of your time is spent consuming things other people made versus making your own? Consume less, create more! This post is a self-reminder.

If someone celebrates your wins instead of talking about one of theirs from 3 yrs ago, that's a friend. Keep them close.
