I'm so overwhelmed to meet Sudha Varghese. She is a remarkable social worker who has dedicated her life to the Musahar community in Bihar. She has received many awards and recognition for her work, including the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India in 2006.

No proper schools or skilled teachers: The Musahar community does not have adequate schools or teachers in their villages or nearby areas. The schools that exist are poorly equipped, understaffed, overcrowded, this school has only one room for all students from 1st to 5th class.

"On the occasion of Teacher's Day, we organized a drawing competition at Social Cafe with the aim of educating young girls about the remarkable contributions of Savitribai Phule to girls' education. This event serves as a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Savitribai Phule."

Since it opened a year ago, the cafe has welcomed Dalit women from the neighbourhood by giving them a secure location and the essentials they need to achieve their objectives. Ashish Kumar Kataria reports from South Delhi. Watch full video: bit.ly/46dbUws #delhi #dalit
