Important study for neurosci field. Shows that the push to study males and female rodents (of a single strain) is misguided, and arguably leads entire fields to draw erroneous conclusions about sex differences. Sex differences in C57Bl/6 mice do not generalize to other strains.

Are there glutamate subtypes in schizophrenia? (eg treatment resistant vs responders). If so, we'd expect to see increased glutamate variability in patients compared to healthy volunteers. This is what we looked at in this meta-analysis (1/) nature.com/articles/s4138…
