Our Milking ewes going out to grass. With ewes one month into lactation they are reaching their peak now and this grass will be the boost they need. Ewes are moved every other day to fresh grass, this type of grazing sequesters more carbon #sheepsmilk #healthy #winwin

We’re always doing our bit for nature here at Mansergh Hall. Over the last few weeks we’ve been planting new hedge rows. This will create a wildlife corridor from the roadside hedge row to the woodland. The wools nots with much and worth more to ensure this hedgerow prospers 👍

This is the biggest tyre cemetery in the world in Kuwait. This fire is always on and can be seen from outerspace. But Irish cows are responsible for climate change.

Nice to get some winter feed in the clamp. A decent clamp of maintenance feed for the Love Ewe Dairy dairy ewes in late lactation and early pregnancy. Amazing growth in dry conditions on the herbal leys. 24 acres in total with 2ha of rye grass getting 95kg N per ha and that’s it 👍

Strange one - local farmer has died and left his hobby flock of 40 hebs with lambs at foot. Land owner would like them gone. Anyone running a commerical flock or have any use
