Sometimes the pressure needs to be released, ya know? 🌊 The archives holds several photos of the Glen Canyon Dam including these of the spillways releasing water from Lake Powell. Have you ever seen this sight before?

You know what's really spooky? Not being prepared for the changing seasons when you go outdoors. As the temps go down, it's important to be properly outfitted when exploring your beautiful public lands. Don't forget to layer up! 🦇 #HappyHalloween

Sometimes called a beater, a batten is a tool used to help push the yarn when weaving on a loom. This batten was found on a dig by Stuart Young. Later that summer Stuart and his guide, Dugai Begay, would make the trek to Rainbow Bridge and become famous in the archaeology world.
