I have tremendous news about Prince Rupert. In March, the B.C. city of 12,000 had the highest #COVID19 transmission rate in the province. Every adult was offered the chance to be vaccinated. At the peak, there were more than 100 weekly cases. Last week, there were 3.

I just received my AZ shot this morning. So well organized, thank you Women's College Hospital! (But when I asked for my lollipop, I was shown an empty box with a note pinned to it from Doug Ford, written in crayon, blaming Justin Trudeau for a candy shortage. Dang.)

Premier Doug Ford is receiving applause - and facing backlash - after publicizing the fact that he helped people during yesterday's storm. @sid_seixeiro and @dinapugliese share their thoughts.

Wow #GeneralStrikeON is trending. The workers of this province have worked too hard to get us all through this pandemic. We will be heard. We will be respected.

Hi! Former comms lead on the employer’s side for provincial collective bargaining here. What you just heard from the Premier is pure nonsense. He basically said he’d lower his gun (s33) if you agree to hand over your wallet (your rights). That’s not bargaining. It’s a stick-up.

Parents cannot find antipyretics so fevers are persistent. Seeing people with antibiotic prescriptions that cannot get filled showing up at emerg. Total collapse is close.

Crisis? What crisis? That's the response from the government to health care professionals at CHEO Ottawa helping kids who are in the hospital right now, struggling to breathe. Doug Ford honour the office you hold: #MaskUp indoors, #RepealBill124, and fund the healthcare we need.

The Canadian Red Cross has been called in to help Ottawa children's hospital, but this is still not considered a "crisis" yet by policymakers. The threshold for government action should not have to be suffering and death.

Getting reports that MedavieElginEMS, run by @Medavie (a private, for-profit company), is so short staffed that a neighbouring service, Oxford County Paramedics, is sending a fully staffed paramedic crew to them for an entire shift. This now leaves Oxford down a crew for the shift.
