Today marked the end of 35 years of fishing on Cass Lake in MN. Began w/my grandfather, father, and myself in the boat. Ends w/my father, myself, and my son fishing. This year's highlight - dad's 27" walleye. She was safely returned to the lake that has given us so many memories.

I'm confused by the world. There's a virus. Some think it's real, some not. Some think it's highly contagious, some not. Some think 6' is too far, some think 5'11" is too close. Some think it's political, some not. What I know - do what you can to get my kids back in class ASAP!

Tomorrow I get my students back. No "orange" kids; no "blue" kids; just Lions. Adjustments for all. We'll be as safe as possible & hope to learn as much as we can. Never knew how much I'd miss them until I only saw half of them. They might think the same-until I make them learn!

I will just say it now. With multiple years left on the Foles contract that the Chicago Bears traded to get, Pace needs to use the 1st-round pick on the best collegiate punter available. Going to use him a lot. Unless he already has that pick slated for another bad QB.

I had a student go raid Dollar Tree and purchase end-of-the-year gifts for all of her teachers. She informed me that the corn trays were because she knew I liked to grill. She never mentioned the impetus behind the 2nd gift. I am concerned! Haha
