There is a lot of blank space on the rainfall projection. Consistent with previous data, the next chance of rain appears around Oct18 for the lower Ohio River valley. Harvest operations see good conditions but recently seeded lawns could use some irrigation for better results.

I share this product for temperature projections, but I analyze several others. This version has been the slowest to move temperatures away from warmer than normal for several weeks. IMO, it has verified better. We here in the lower Ohio River valley have experienced more warm

Fall temperatures arrive in the lower Ohio River valley. First projection to not include 80s. Next milestone to watch for is first killing frost (32 degrees or colder). This week on the calendar would be the normal arrival but it looks to be a late arrival. Cool weather fall

Lower Ohio River valley saw some light frost on roofs and elevated surfaces yesterday with low temperatures in the low 40s. I keep looking for the end of growing season with 32 or colder. 2 weeks out a projected low of 34 is close enough to focus on for now as potential first

Low level wind projection for Oct29 suggests a very strong storm system in the Great Lakes and a trailing cold front that should produce rain over the lower Ohio River valley. Backside winds should bring another shot of cooler air.

First 45 day projection I have seen topping 5" in weeks. This does not align with other solutions that suggest a dry November for the lower Ohio River valley. There is more detail in this product and I have come to trust it more in 2025. There is more consensus that December

Chance of rain is up with amounts down a bit from projections just a couple days ago. Interesting to note an increment almost everyday after showers arrive Sunday (Oct26). Lower Ohio River valley likely to see 1"+ during the next 2 weeks with some spots possibly picking up

Rainfall projection for the region delivers most of the rain during the next 2 weeks in the first few days. My observation of harvest locally is that strong progress toward completion has been rolling. This rain will slow any operations trying to complete but the rain chances
