Send four rolls of film off to the lab but the envelope opened in transit and they received it empty. Not sure if there’s anything Royal Mail Help can do. Or if anyone comes across some rolls of film kicking about the street, let me know thank you 😵‍💫

Moving day! That’s most of the books in. Some shelves to go up, a table to source. A kettle. A biscuit tin. Opening May 3rd.

Just heard Sainsbury's’ sustainability advert say “There’s nothing fishy about the way we catch fish”. Wondering how scallops caught by dredges in Canada and I assume flown to the UK, or cod caught in the NE Atlantic, to be packed in China, to be sold in the UK, is sustainable?

“It’s about 500 soldiers, maybe 300 of them with AR-15s”
“We sold those to them, right?”
“Well, until a few hours ago they were on our side.”

Got to show Mark from BBC Out of Doors around the new library space with Eva Scottish Maritime Museum (empty of books but containing some architectural features he quite liked). Segment begins around 1:04:00 but obviously enjoy the whole thing this long weekend 🌼

Coalition members and local scientists have identified key herring spawning grounds off the coast of Gairloch.
Scottish Government earmarked this area for protection six years ago, yet bottom-towed fishing is still permitted.

One more workshop to go, tomorrow at Milngavie Library! The last one saw stories created of non-human garden co-ops, teeny tiny worms and a solitary tulip, so I’m quite excited for more🪱🌷
