In the middle of Birmingham, close to where I live, there's a surprisingly big reserve where birdsong drowns out the city (just listen...). This clip is from a tree there: ideal to perch in with book & coffee, & watch the life of the oak unfold - black cap, woodpecker, owl, etc.

Last week, I was walking in the hill and found this little Wumple. Turns out he had been out on a photo shoot and had wandered off and got lost! I brought him home and he seems to be enjoying his new life as my writing buddy and now I just need to choose a name! #Shetland
