Huge huge honor to be a finalist for the Student Press Law Center Courage in Student Journalism Award. The Indiana Daily Student staff deserves all the recognition for their bravery while reporting on the Israel-Hamas war in the face of harassment and backlash.
Today Indiana Daily Student won two ACP Pacemakers — multiplatform and newspaper — and received 1st nationally for our “No confidence” in the student media plan paper. I’m honored to help lead a fantastic staff, who all deserve support from IU Media School and IU Bloomington — not cuts 1/2
I couldn’t be more proud of Indiana Daily Student for winning these national and prestigious awards and being recognized as one of the best newspapers in the country. This is the paper IU Bloomington wants to cut.
