There are increasing problems with parking of non-resident cars in the lower Tranmere roads. I am trying to do something to ease the situation. No promises but if something can be done I will do it.

Last night the Rotary Brass Band Concert at Yeadon Town Hall was probably the best of the many I have attended. The playing was superb and Frank Renton was on top form.

I have today had a response from Network Rail that they now have the funding and will deal with the Station Road lake during this summer. Their intention is to upgrade the drainage system. Lets cross our fingers and hope for a positive result.

In advance of that our team will be planning to clean the road in the next few weeks to address the build up of debris on the road. In the short term I hope that this makes the condition of the road a bit better. This is part of the letter (which was too big to print.)
