We would like to take a moment to congratulate Sharon Ferraro on her upcoming retirement and thank her for her more than 20 years of dedication to historic preservation in Kalamazoo.

Sharon joined the City of Kalamazoo as the Historic Preservation Coordinator in October 2001 and has been involved in many projects like Downtown Design Review, Hidden Kalamazoo tours, teaching Old House Owners workshops, and advising homeowners on historic home improvements.

This is something I'm very proud of. I've been working on this project, as a volunteer, for over 2 years, with help from neighbors and city staff.
