So when combined with FLAME, you have a hot/ready-to-run model you can dish out to the runners . Cold starts on ML inference is measured in time to first prediction, and I'm not sure you can get much faster with true scale to zero/infinity. #MLBEAMOps

Last week I got some rough news that me and bunch of my coworkers were being laid off. I will be using the very generous severance to pause a bit and figure out whats next. But if you are hiring in the Elixir/Rust/Go/docs/comms space lemme know! I know some excellent candidates.

Unironically the The Elixir programming language docs are a great read start to finish. You learn a ton. It’s how I learned the ‘finally’ keyword exists and that ‘super()’ is also available when implementing a function previously defined with ‘defoverridable’
