I don’t know why anyone is surprised that NHS productivity has reduced. You cannot systemically bully a workforce for 14 years, restrict resources and fail to fix problems, and then expect the productivity to remain high. The Conservative government has profoundly failed the NHS.

And to think all this has happened since the 2016 #brexit vote and the scrapping of European Parliament public waterways safety legislation.

Good news that the High Court has (once again) ruled the government’s net zero plans to be unlawful due to insufficient consideration of how the plans will actually be delivered. This highlights the continual cycle of grand targets on climate not being matched with reality.

The state of the NHS after 14 yrs of deliberate, calculated government underfunding - patients put at risk by hospital ceilings literally collapsing.

They’re destroying NHS staff, buildings, morale & capacity to care.

And they just don’t care.
