in 13 years on twitter i’ve never had a post removed, and in 3 weeks on mastodon i’ve already had something taken down for racism and sexism, ok

Why Twitter is great: from the comments, some hope in a paper I hadn’t seen before. In the long term, good user experiences may win out. Which makes sense. How many people will stay here if Twitter becomes a cesspool? (And is the current Twitter policy aimed short or long term?)
