Last night KCS hosted STEM night. Students in 4th grade created games to showcase, and there were activities from Totus Tech and Science from Scientists. What a fun family event.

First Day of Spring Break: forgot to turn off my alarm. Not off to a great start. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I went from hitting golf balls in the backyard to shoveling several inches of snow in less than three days. Not cool, Minnesota weather.

My son’s friend got a hole in one tonight…kinda. Unfortunately it was in the windshield of my golf cart.

KCS celebrates Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you to all our wonderful teachers for the many hours they spend planning, correcting papers, teaching lessons, and ensuring that KCS students have the best educational experience possible! We appreciate you all!

Our friends at the Elk River Fire Department are on campus to meet with our KaleidoscopeCharter first grade students. My current view might make it tough to get things done this morning.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office spoke to our KaleidoscopeCharter first grade students this morning as part of their Community Helpers unit. The kids really enjoyed the lights and sirens.

KCS celebrates the incredible work of all our staff members!  This week is American Education Week - - November 17-22, 2025. Please help us thank all the staff at KCS for making our school a great place for students and families!

Candidates for the 2026 Minnesota Teacher of the Year have been announced, and Kaleidoscope has two educators who were nominated. Mr. Young and Mr. Verke are among the 128 candidates for the award statewide. Congratulations!
